In Yin yoga, we slow everything down, our breath, our movements and our thoughts. The yoga asanas are held for a long period of time, 2-5 min. My intention is to guide my student’s attention inwards, into their bodies. The focus is on softening into the reality of what is going on internally, both physically and mentally. Yin yoga is a very therapeutic and intense experience.
